Pete Scatena, a native of the Northstate, is proud to offer an environmentally friendly solution to the fog and moisture found in double paned windows through his newest venture, The Glass Guru. Pete has an extensive background in Home Inspection and Property Preservation, which adds to his expertise.
According to Scatena, "The Glass Guru window restoration is an environmentally green process. Repairing the window, instead of replacing, prevents the disposal of the fogged glass, and the drying process also reinstates the R-value, (thermal efficiency), which reduces energy costs and the overall carbon foot print of the building."
"The process is typically half the cost of replacing the window, it only takes a short time, and is minimally invasive," said Scatena.
In addition to the moisture problem, we offer Solar/Sun Screens which block either 80% or 90% of the sun's rays and are available in a variety of colors. In addition, we remove hard water spots and scratches from all types of glass including; shower doors, windows, table tops, etc.
The Glass Guru offers a complete line of traditional glass services for residential and commercial, including business, and store front applications. Other traditional glass items include tub/shower doors and enclosures, mirrors, table-tops and shelving. Screens are another major part of our business, from selling new or repairing old.
Additionally, we are a Milgard authorized dealer and can provide exterior patio and French doors and sliders.
